Hearing Aid Repairs
Hearing aids require regular and special care to ensure that they function continuously as they are supposed to.
If you feel that your hearing aid is not working properly or has stopped working and trouble shooting has not helped, please contact us or visit us, and we will check your hearing aid for you.
We are able to verify the performance of your hearing aid with the help of a modern hearing aid analyzer.
Behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid wearers should regularly have the earmould tubing checked for discolouration or whether it is loose, stiff or brittle. We can replace the tubing while you wait.
Minimal repairs may be carried out on-site and while you wait but if we find, that a major repair is required, we will return the hearing aid to the manufacturer for servicing.
Since most manufacturers nowadays offer standard repair charges, we can in most cases inform you right away of the cost involved. If required we can provide you with a quote first prior to the repair of your hearing aid.
Do not attempt to repair your hearing aid yourself as you may cause more damage which could be irreparable and lead to more expensive repairs.
